Basic stance to start is very simple. You are going to want to go from a basic standing position with your feet spread apart to follow this series of moves
- Left foot forward
- Right foot back, elevated slightly, knee bent at 90 degree angle
- Both knees loose and bent; your weight should be equally distributed above your hips
- Arms up, hands just in front of your face, elbows in
