Krav maga moves: Intro to krav maga techniques

In the next series of posts I will be talking about some basic krav maga moves including stance and introductory strikes.  This is intended as a primer to get you started learning krav maga online.  These techniques can be practiced anywhere and you do not need a partner to do them.

Basic stance to start is very simple.  You are going to want to go from a basic standing position with your feet spread apart to follow this series of moves

  1. Left foot forward
  2. Right foot back, elevated slightly, knee bent at 90 degree angle
  3. Both knees loose and bent; your weight should be equally distributed above your hips
  4. Arms up, hands just in front of your face, elbows in
